Green Reindeers!

Good Evening to you All and I hope you have had a lovely weekend whatever you've been doing.
I seem to have been rather busy around the house this weekend, and I've had no end of bother with both PC and printer.  I changed the ink on the printer, and it's only printing shades of blue and green.   I don't know if it's the fact that I used different cartridges to the normal Dell ones,( I was trying to save money), but I've gone through everything my printer manual instructs me to do, but it's still not printing correctly.  I wanted to print out some images, but not to be.  I hate when things go wrong and the reason can't be found.

Anyway, thank you all so much for the very kind comments on my last card, so pleased you liked it.

Tonight's card I made a couple of weeks ago;
I've used SB reindeer die from Frosty Forms set and cut free paper from Making Cards Mag from last year
Centura pearl card embossed with a Papermania Snowflake folder
Green Core'dination card
Sentiment from the same Magazine
SB Snowflakes
Gold Ribbon from Hobby Crafts
Gems from my box
Glamour Dust

Not much news or stories tonight, all quiet here. So enjoy the rest of your Sunday, I'm off to get in to my PJs and pick up my book.  See you soon,

Hi Kate fab card I love the deer die its so pretty. I just changed my cartridges to generic ones as the HP were so expensive and mine wouldn't print all the colors out either. I did a print head clean and it works fine now! Susan x

Gorgeous card Kate. With my last printer when it got a bit older I changed to a cheaper alternative too because my HP cartridges were sooo expensive. Occasionally I had a faulty one and had to send it back to be replaced. My new printer is also HP but this one has separate cartridges for each colour so no need to replace the whole cartridge if only one colour has gone down. There's always something isn't there! Hugs Christine xx

Hi Kate, love those fancy antlers on your beautiful deer. Embossed snowflake background is so pretty too. What a pain when something won't work and you don't know what else to do to fix it, hope you get it sorted without too much more annoyance.

Hugs
Sue

Lovely Card Kate. Lovely Christmas colours. Thank you for your comment on Ang's (Mrs Duck's) blog. Sadly the vet found he'd got a brain tumour which had caused the stroke so he was put to sleep on Wednesday. I found him when he was 4 weeks old and very sickly so he's very special to me. I have 4 other babies and my cute little dog but as I said he was special and I miss him.
Take care and best wishes

Loving your deer and the colour combo of your card Kate.
I always stick to branded cartridges as over the years the copies have never ever lived up to the same quality and colour. Believe I have tried so many. It's such a shame as there is a real different in cost too.
Have a super weekend and stay warm, hugs Erika.

Hi Kate,
super design card. I love those green reindeers, such a fab idea.
So sorry to hear about your printer probs.
I have 2 printers, in case one goes wrong, and sometimes they have both gone wrong together.
I do hope all gets worked out okay soon it sounds like the printer heads are blocked or in need of replacement, some printer cartridges have new heads attached to them.
Have a wonderful crafty day.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
