Molly and a Christmas Door!

Hello Crafty Buddies, how are you all doing, I hope well and enjoying your weekend.

We are all really sad here as my lovely Grand pet Molly had died. Damian and Moreen adopted her from a rescue centre and she was 14 years old. She was a definitely a great character, and knew me as Gran and that I would always have biscuits in my bag for her. She was a lurcher breed. and had the greyhound pointed face, but was anything but sleek.  The cats are a bit lost without her, it's amazing how animals just know when something is wrong.

Here she is;
Thank s to everyone who left a comment on my Oldie card, you are very kind. Here is another Sheena Douglass card;
Coloured with SN Aqua Pens and matted and layered with Gold Mirri card and Hunkydorry foiled embossed card.

I had meant to go down to the big craft fair at the SSEC today, but I couldn't face 7 hours on a bus after our trip to London, so as a treat we've had an Indian Takeaway for dinner, I'll suffer, oh how I'll suffer, but it was soo good.
Enjoy your evening and take care of yourselves,

Kate, sorry to read about Molly...our pets do become part of the family. A lovely card though, love the foiled card. I didn't even contemplate going to the show this time...very disappointed last time I went. Hope you don't suffer too much for your takeaway. Carol x

Evening Kate, I just popped in while waiting for the kettle to boil. I'm so sorry to hear the sad news about Molly. That's a lovely photo and she looks a really sweet dog. Dogs and cats are so important in our lives and leave a big hole when they go.

Your card is lovely with the dear little dog in the foreground. I don't have any of Sheena's stamps yet.

I hope you enjoyed your Indian Takeaway and aren't suffering too much. I know what you mean we both have the same problem too.

Sorry to hear this Kate. Sadly I know exactly how you are all feeling they really do become part of our family and our sorely missed when they go. That is a gorgeous card. Santa is going to be getting a very big wish list this year with lots of different Spectrum Noir mediums pens, pencils and inks! Big gentle hugs huni, and I hope your treat doesn't make you suffer too much Karen xx

I am not surprised you couldn't face another long days journey.
You must be still getting over the last one.
Love your super duper card.

Have a very lovely Sunday.

Oh Kate! Such sad news... I only know too well how you must be feeling. Oct 24 marks 3 months since our André gained his angel wings. And your news is heartbreaking. You won't get any clichés from me... only lots of healing virtual hugs. The fact is pets are so much more than what we imagine. Great card and I spy a little doggie! T
hugs, Asha

Sorry to hear about Molly, they really are part of the family our pets.
I was down at the show this weekend, lots of people! I don't blame you not wanting another trip after going to London too, we just live so far away from everything. The upside not as many people, the downside lots of travel time.
Another super Christmas card, a lovely image.
I have reserved a poppy for you if you still want one, I shall be in touch later this week.

Hugs Erika. x

So sorry to hear about the loss of your sweet Molly. It's so hard to say goodbye...and she looked to be a beautiful girl. And yes, the other animals do know when one leaves and it takes time for them to adjust. The card is so lovely, with the winter house and snow, and the faithful friend guarding the door. Love that wonderful embossing on the mat too. Brilliant coloring with your Noirs. TFS & hugs.
