Christmas Gifts for the CCC!

Hello from Winter Wonderland, yes we have a great deal of snow, but at the moment sunshine too, it's all lovely if you don't have to go out in it. We travelled back from Glasgow last night by bus and the further North we got the worse the roads, however we had a good driver and he go all home safely.

We had a lovely time in Glasgow, and I had a great meet up with our lovely Rita. The Italian restaurant we had our lunch was super, great food, and we spent ages chatting, we also got a we bit of shopping done too.

Now it's Rita who chosen our challenge for the CCC this time, it's our last one for this year and, she would like to see Christmas Gifts on our cards.  So without further ado here are mine;
First up is this love LOTV image coloured with Derwent Inktense Pencils and Snow Glitter. First Edition Papers and Die'sire  tree dies, next;
Here we have a lovely Chocolate Baroque image from the Gift at Christmas stamp set with a water coloured background. I used Sakura gel pens to colour in the ribbon and bows on the image. Sentiment is from Inkylicious and background papers is from Crafty Individuals and Starlight paint in Silver around the edge of the image card.
Thank you Rita for this challenge I really enjoyed creating these  cards.

So a quiet day at home for me, but we are going out to a concert in the Cathedral tonight, I hope they've got the heating on, it's not the most comfortable place anyway, but it can be Baltic.

This is a scheduled post, so hope it goes live when it's supposed to. Please try and visit the other CCC ladies to see what they have created.

Thank you all so much for all the lovely comments on my last card, I really appreciated it.
Keep cosy and see you soon,

Good Morning Kate. I was so relieved when you let me know you got home safely. One of the best days I had in a while and it was lovely to have time away from my wifely duties and enjoy some great conversation. What beautiful cards you have you have created for the last challenge of 2018. Both are very beautiful and I'm just glad I don't have to choose between them, Enjoy your concert at the Cathedral tonight. Hugs Rita xxxx

Kate, 2 wonderful cards. I love that cute image with the sweet Santa on his reindeer steed, and all the gifts. Great snowfall effect and the gold mat sets off this scene so nicely. Love the background DP with the addition of the dimensional gold trees. And #2 with the fab w/b background, and the silver trimmings, just spot on for this challenge as well. Love the way you've done the w/coloring like the aurora borealis effect. So happy you & Rita had a grand time and you got back home safely. Enjoy your music tonight, and hope the cathedral will be warm. TFS & Hugs

Such beautiful cards Kate. So pleased you had a good time with Rita and that you had a safe journey. We have been totally snowed in since the heavy snow started on Saturday evening. We are going to make a start to try to dig ourselves out in a little while - well John is out there already but I need to gird my loins!!!Hugs Christine xx

Love both cards, Kate. Of course Santa and his reindeer is so darling with the presents, and the tower of beautifully wrapped gifts with the awesome background is beautiful too. We have snow now too, first that has stayed and expecting more everyday this week. Keep warm.

Beautiful cards. The black and gold one is so elegant and that Santa image is adorable! The second card has a wonderful non-traditional colour palette, so frosty and serene! I love winter and lots of snow, but it sure does make driving difficult and dangerous. Glad you made it safely. Enjoy your concert! hugs :)
